Tuition
- No Tharaka-specific fee figures could be verified, though it appears in a January 2026 listing of Kenyan universities offering courses from as little as KSh 5,000 per semester. As a public university its students access both Universities Fund scholarships and HELB loans, means-tested across five household-income bands; apply at hef.co.ke once KUCCPS places you. Tharaka-Nithi living costs are well below Nairobi, and for students from this semi-arid county a local university removes the need to relocate entirely.
Admissions
- The national minimum for degree entry is a KCSE mean grade of C+, with programme-specific cluster requirements set by KUCCPS.
