Tuition
- No Kabarak fee figures could be verified — but the university runs a DEDICATED STUDENT FINANCE OFFICE at studentfinance@kabarak.ac.ke, and a separate accommodation@kabarak.ac.ke for housing, which is the fastest route to accurate current costs. For context, Kenyan private university fees generally run from roughly KSh 100,000 a year for arts and business to over KSh 500,000 for law, health sciences and specialised technology; Kabarak's position in that range was not established. Two funding points to settle before you commit: as a private university Kabarak would access HELB loans ONLY, not Universities Fund scholarships — confirm it is among the private universities on the current HELB list; and although it accepts KUCCPS-placed students, how government sponsorship actually works at a private institution needs explaining, since the national model reserves scholarships for public universities. Kabarak holds a full CUE charter. Kenya's funding framework is under active litigation and reform, so treat any figure as dated.
Admissions
- The national minimum for degree entry is a KCSE mean grade of C+. Kabarak's own requirements were not published — contact admissions@kabarak.ac.ke.
- Kabarak accepts both KUCCPS-placed and self-sponsored direct applicants.
- If applying for LAW — Kabarak's headline strength — ask for written confirmation of Council of Legal Education recognition. Without it, graduates cannot proceed to the Kenya School of Law, and it was not confirmed.
- Accepts international applicants
