Tangaza University (TU) is a private university in Kenya. It is a chartered tertiary institution of higher learning, accredited by the Commission for University Education in Kenya.

Ask for the CURRENT structure specifically: Tangaza was chartered only in May 2024, and institutions commonly restructure pricing on gaining independence, so older figures may be stale. Its former parent CUEA charges per unit at KSh 6,000 for bachelor's and KSh 8,000 for graduate programmes; Tangaza may or may not still follow that model. THE FUNDING ROUTE MOST WORTH PURSUING HERE IS CONGREGATIONAL. Tangaza's origins in social ministry training mean a substantial share of its students are religious sisters, brothers and priests sponsored by their congregations — if you belong to a Catholic religious congregation, ask about that before anything else. As a private university Tangaza accesses HELB loans only, not Universities Fund scholarships, and its HELB status may have changed with the charter, so confirm rather than assume.
Admissions
