- No MUA fee figures could be verified — contact info@mua.ac.ke or +254 722 224 193. BEFORE YOU DISCUSS FEES, ESTABLISH ITS REGULATORY STATUS — this is the most important thing on this record. CUE's August 2022 documentation lists MUA among institutions holding a LETTER OF INTERIM AUTHORITY rather than a full charter. An LIA institution is authorised to operate but has not met full chartering requirements, and that is a materially different standing from a chartered university: it affects how your qualification is regarded, and it may affect HELB eligibility. MUA does appear on CUE's more recent approved listings, but appearing on an approved list is not the same as being chartered, because CUE's lists include LIA institutions as a separate category. Ask CUE or the university directly, in writing, whether MUA is chartered today. Anyone offering paid help with admission on the basis of a status they cannot document should be treated with suspicion.
Admissions
- FIRST: confirm MUA's current CUE status — chartered, or operating under a Letter of Interim Authority. This determines how your qualification will be regarded and should be settled before you commit.
- Confirm HELB eligibility separately. It may differ for institutions operating under a Letter of Interim Authority.
- The national minimum for degree entry is a KCSE mean grade of C+. MUA's own requirements were not published — contact info@mua.ac.ke.
- Accepts international applicants
