Catholic Institute of Kabgayi
UCK was recognised by Rwanda's Ministry of Education through a Convention of Allocation (N°001/03/2003) concluded with the Government of Rwanda, and gained legal personality in 2006. In 2010, it was renamed Institut Catholique de Kabgayi by Ministerial Order, and later that year received its Definitive Operating Licence from Cabinet, confirming its accreditation as a fully-fledged higher education institution.

Tuition
- ICK publishes no fee document, so no tuition figure can be quoted — ask info@uck.ac.rw. What matters more for cost-sensitive applicants is that ICK runs a repeatedly renewed financial support partnership with CHANCEN International Rwanda, the same income-share mechanism Kepler uses: tuition is deferred and repaid as a percentage of income after graduation, once employed above a threshold. Eligible programmes are named in each announcement and the windows are short, so watch the ICK announcements page rather than waiting for a general round. A separate CPA scholarship runs for students taking the Certified Public Accountant qualification. Confirm CHANCEN's repayment terms with ICK directly before committing. Approximately RWF 450,000-650,000 per year. Its journalism and communication provision is uncommon in this directory and is the main reason to consider it over a Kigali institution.
