Tuition
- No TTU fee figures could be verified — request the current structure from info@ttu.ac.ke or +254 721 113 302. Mining, geology and engineering programmes sit at the upper end of the public university range given equipment and field requirements, so ask specifically what FIELD TRIP AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT costs you bear on top of tuition — in geology and mining those are real and rarely covered. As a public university TTU students access both Universities Fund scholarships and HELB loans; apply at hef.co.ke once KUCCPS places you. Taita Taveta living costs are well below Nairobi and Mombasa.
Admissions
- The national minimum for degree entry is a KCSE mean grade of C+, with programme-specific cluster requirements set by KUCCPS.
- TTU's specific entry grades were not published — contact info@ttu.ac.ke before ranking your choices.
- For engineering and geology programmes, ask which professional body recognises the course: Engineers Board of Kenya for engineering, and the Geologists Registration Board for geology. Registration is what lets you practise.
- Accepts international applicants
