NOTE THE DOMAIN: Mzumbe's website is mu.ac.tz, not mzumbe.ac.tz — searching the obvious address will not find it. Every Tanzanian student pays the TZS 20,000 annual TCU quality assurance fee, and HESLB is a separate OLAMS application with a TZS 30,000 fee; confirm your programme carries loan priority before accepting a place. Morogoro Region living costs are well below Dar es Salaam.
Admissions
- Apply DIRECTLY to the university. DIRECT ENTRY: two ACSEE principal passes at E or above totalling 4.0 points. EQUIVALENT ENTRY via Ordinary Diploma or NTA Level 6 has its own annual TCU guidebook.
- IF APPLYING FOR AN ACCOUNTANCY PROGRAMME: ask whether it carries National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) recognition and what professional exemptions it earns you. Exemptions save real time and money on professional qualification later, and are a material benefit worth confirming in advance.
