Originally established in 2000 as the Institut Supérieur Polytechnique La Francophonie (ISPF), the institution was restructured in 2017 to align with the LMD (Licence-Master-Doctorat) system and officially mutated into a university on December 11, 2019. It offers programs across several faculties, including Social Sciences and Humanities, Juridical, Economic and Management Sciences, Technical Sciences, and the Higher Institute of Medico-Sanitary Sciences. The university is accredited by CAMES and has established partnerships with regional and international institutions like the University of Douala and Paris-Saclay.
