Originally founded in 2010 as the Université de Tahoua, the institution was renamed in 2022 in honor of Professor Djibo Hamani. It offers a wide range of academic programs through its faculties of Law, Economics and Management, Agricultural Sciences, and Educational Sciences, as well as its University Institute of Technology (IUT). The university is committed to contributing to the socio-economic development of Niger through quality higher education, scientific research, and regional cooperation.
