The University of Saida Dr Moulay Tahar (USMT) is a public university situated in the northwestern region of Algeria. Originally founded in 1986 as a teacher training college (École Normale Supérieure), it transitioned into a university center in 1998 and was officially upgraded to a full university in 2009. Today, the university operates across four campuses and comprises several faculties, including Science, Technology, Law and Political Sciences, and Economics, serving approximately 13,000 students.
