The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Ilorin formally came into existence following the approval of the Senate of the University of Ilorin on December 2, 2009. It comprises six academic departments: Clinical Pharmacy & Pharmacy Practice, Pharmacognosy & Drug Development, Pharmaceutics & Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmacology & Toxicology, Pharmaceutical & Medicinal Chemistry, and Pharmaceutical Microbiology & Biotechnology. The faculty is dedicated to academic excellence, research, and community service, training students to become leaders in healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry.
