Morsli Abdallah University of Tipaza is a public institution on a 28-hectare site above the town of Tipaza, west of Algiers. Created as a university centre in 2011, it became a university by executive decree in October 2025. It teaches sciences, nature and life sciences, economics and management, law, social and human sciences, and Arabic language and literature, with a medicine annex, and reports more than 18,000 students and 520 teachers.
