Université Polytechnique Internationale Obiang Nguema Mbasogo
Originally founded in 1998 by Valère Kakaï Glèlè as the Complexe d'Enseignement Polytechnique International du Bénin (CEPIB), the institution was renamed to Université Polytechnique Internationale du Bénin (UPIB) in 2006, and adopted its current name in 2013. UPI-ONM is officially recognized and accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS) of Benin. The university focuses on a 'formation-diplôme-emploi' (training-degree-employment) model to enhance youth employability, offering programs ranging from Diplôme Universitaire de Technologie (DUT) to Master's degrees.
