Established by government ordinance in September 2011, the Université des sciences sociales et de gestion de Bamako (USSGB) is one of the successor institutions of the former University of Bamako. The university is organized into specialized faculties and institutes, including the Faculty of Economics and Management (FSEG), the Faculty of History and Geography (FHG), the University Institute of Management (IUG), and the University Institute of Territorial Development (IUDT). It aims to train highly qualified professionals to support Mali's economic development and public administration.
