Royal Military Academy of Libya
Founded in 1957 under the Kingdom of Libya, the academy was the nation's first dedicated institution for advanced military education. It played a pivotal role in training the country's officer corps, famously producing graduates such as Muammar Gaddafi and Khalifa Haftar. Over the decades, the institution has undergone various restructurings and name changes while continuing its mission of preparing cadets for leadership roles in the Libyan armed forces.
