Université Peleforo Gon Coulibaly (UPGC) was created by decree in October 2012, succeeding the former Regional Higher Education Unit (URES) of Korhogo which was founded in 1996. Located in Korhogo, Côte d'Ivoire, the university offers programs structured around the Licence-Master-Doctorat (LMD) system. It features several departments including Biological Sciences, Social Sciences, Letters and Arts, Medicine, and the Agropastoral Management Institute.
