Nigeria Airforce University
Established in 1977 as the Technical and Supply School, the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) was upgraded to a university status in 2018. It is approved by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to run both academic degrees and technical diplomas. The institution serves as a premier training hub for the Nigerian Air Force, other military branches, and civilian students, focusing on aeronautics, aerospace engineering, and defense technology.
