Founded in 2001, UPSAT is a pioneer in private paramedical education in Tunisia, with campuses in Tunis, Sousse, and Sfax. It is recognized by the Tunisian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Health. As a member of the Honoris United Universities network since 2018, the institution offers state-approved undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including nursing, anesthesia, and physiotherapy. In 2026, its nursing program received international accreditation from the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN/ACESI).
