Established in 2014 following the reorganization of the University Mandume ya Ndemufayo, Cuito Cuanavale University is a public university based in Menongue, Cuando Cubango province, Angola. The university is named in honor of the historic Battle of Cuito Cuanavale. It offers undergraduate programs (licenciatura) in fields such as health sciences, pedagogy, and polytechnic studies, serving the regional educational needs of southeastern Angola.
