Founded in 2018 by the Stern Stewart Institute, the Burkina Institute of Technology (BIT) offers high-quality, practical education in computer science, engineering, and entrepreneurship. The university's campus, designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Diébédo Francis Kéré, features sustainable clay-cast modules that naturally cool the classrooms. BIT aims to train a new generation of African leaders and innovators through a modern curriculum, international partnerships, and a focus on real-world problem-solving.
