Botswana Accountancy College
Botswana Accountancy College (BAC) was founded in 1996 by the government, Debswana and the Botswana Institute of Accountants to reduce reliance on expatriate accountants. It now presents itself as the Botswana School of Business Sciences. It runs schools of finance and professional studies, computing and information systems, and business and leisure in Gaborone and Francistown, largely with UK university partners (Derby, Sunderland, Sheffield Hallam) and professional bodies such as ACCA, CIMA and AAT, with on-campus accommodation in both cities.
